Researcher from the Water Quality Laboratory participated in a workshop organized by the Malaysia One Health University Network (MyOHUN), alongside experts, academics, and practitioners from various disciplines under the One Health approach (Human, Animal, and Environmental Health). The primary objective of the workshop was to design and develop a comprehensive educational module on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) for undergraduate students, with the aim of nurturing a future generation that is knowledgeable, aware, and proactive in addressing AMR-related challenges. The threat of AMR is real and requires collective action. Through the development of this module, we hope to strengthen higher education institutions and professional communities by providing a robust and effective training resource to support AMR awareness, prevention, and management efforts.
