NAHRIM-MHI is currently conducting a joint research project with the Marine Technology Centre at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, to test the durability and operational efficiency of floating gas terminals within the oil and gas industry.
MHI is responsible for providing the facilities and executing tests on the floating platform models. These tests aim to evaluate platform stability against wave actions and analyze relative motion between the vessel and the jetty during gas transfer processes.
May this strategic research collaboration serve as a catalyst for a leap in national innovation, while simultaneously positioning Malaysia as a sustainable and competitive global technology hub.
