Tanjung Bidara Beach, Melaka – NAHRIM actively participated in the National-level World Water Day 2026 celebration, held at the scenic and historic Tanjung Bidara Beach. Embracing the theme “Water for All”, the event highlighted the critical importance of equitable water resource management for global well-being.
Throughout the two-day event, NAHRIM engaged in various impactful activities:
PETRA Pavilion: Showcased as a key exhibitor under the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) Pavilion, featuring the latest in water research and innovation.
Explore Race: Contributed to the educational segment by organizing tasks for the Explore Race session, involving school students from the educational camp organized by the Melaka Water Regulatory Body (BKSA).
VIP Visits: The NAHRIM booth was honored by a visit from YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of PETRA, alongside YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Chief Minister of Melaka.
The celebration reached its peak on 25 April 2026, supported by more than 30 NAHRIM officers led by YBrs. Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Safari Hj. Mat Desa, Deputy Director General of NAHRIM.
