Following the recent visit by PETRONAS and the PETRONAS Petroleum Technology Institute (INSTEP) to NAHRIM on 8th June 2026, a follow-up site visit was successfully conducted by NAHRIM’s expert team to the INSTEP coastal area.
The primary objective of this site visit is to conduct in-depth research on coastal erosion issues affecting the area, while identifying and formulating comprehensive, sustainable coastal protection measures.
This continuous synergy between NAHRIM and INSTEP reflects a shared commitment to deploying science and engineering-based solutions to mitigate erosion, ensuring infrastructure safety and the preservation of our coastal environment.
