The Steering Committee Meeting for the Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) Programme under PRAB Phase 2 (Package 1) at the NAHRIM level was chaired by YBrs. Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Safari bin Hj. Mat Desa, Deputy Director General of NAHRIM, on 2 April 2026, with the attendance of project members involved.
The meeting aimed to present the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievements for 2025 and to discuss the implementation plans for 2026, covering eleven (11) selected river basins across five (5) states, namely Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, and Melaka.
The discussion is expected to strengthen programme implementation and enhance the effectiveness of CEPA initiatives in raising public awareness and preparedness towards flood risks.
