26 November 2025 | The 2025 NAHRIM Strengthening and Refinement Workshop continued with a focus on enhancing departmental functions, mapping stakeholders and 13th Malaysia Plan (RMKe-13) programmes, as well as aligning cross-departmental strategies.
On the second day of the session, various inputs and ideas were collaboratively discussed involving all Research Centres, Laboratories and existing Departments. The discussions aimed to ensure that the restructuring process is strengthened in terms of direction, impact, and alignment with current needs of the water sector.
The workshop continues to serve as an important platform for consolidating expertise, reinforcing implementation mechanisms, and coordinating organisational actions more strategically. With a more focused and integrated approach, NAHRIM remains committed to advancing as a credible, impactful, and competitive water research institution, in line with the Water Sector Roadmap 2040 and NAHRIM’s aspiration towards becoming a Regional Water Hub. ✨🌎💦💧
