Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Awareness Training was co-organised by National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) and EIG Puresolutions Sdn. Bhd. at Bangi Resort Hotel on 19 May 2026. The training was attended by NAHRIM personnel from the Water Quality and Environmental Research Centre, River Basin Research Centre, Water Resources Research Centre, Hydrogeology Research Centre, Coastal and Oceanography Research Centre, Hydraulic and Instrumentation Laboratory, as well as the Water Quality Laboratory. The main objective of the training was to provide exposure to ESG practices among NAHRIM personnel in order to enhance the quality of water research implementation for the benefit of environmental, social and governance aspects. In addition, the training also covered matters related to integrity, materiality matrix, key performance indicators (KPIs), and the targeting of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
