Did you know that our sea temperatures exhibit unique variations based on location and season? According to a five-year data analysis from NAHRIM’s monitoring stations, Port Dickson recorded the highest average temperature at 29.76°C and remains the most stable location. Meanwhile, Labuan shows the widest temperature range at 7.56°C. Overall, national waters experience their warmest temperatures mid-year (May-June) and are coolest at the beginning of the year (January-March). This observational data is crucial for understanding the impacts of global warming on the nation’s marine ecosystem.
