9 December 2025 | Working Visit by PETRA and NAHRIM to the TM Klang Valley Data Center (KVDC)
A briefing session and working visit to the TM Klang Valley Data Center (KVDC) was held as part of the development planning for the national water portal and the implementation of the National Water Hub, which will later be expanded into a Regional Water Hub.
The session was chaired by YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Rodzwan bin Mohd Baba Sakri, Deputy Secretary General (Water), Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, and was accompanied by YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Hj. Nasehir bin E.M Yahaya, Director General of NAHRIM.
This visit enabled PETRA and NAHRIM to assess TM’s digital infrastructure capabilities, data sovereignty measures, and technology solutions to support the development of the portal as a one-stop centre for national water sector data and information.
Discussions with TM also focused on technical requirements, potential data integration, and the strategic collaboration roadmap in developing a platform that will consolidate water-related data at the national level before expanding to the regional level.
Overall, the visit successfully strengthened planning efforts and collaboration between NAHRIM, PETRA, and TM towards realizing the aspirations of the National Water Hub and the Regional Water Hub.
