10 December 2025 | Technical and Development Visit to Batang Kali Water Treatment Plant, Hulu Selangor District
The National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM), through its Hydraulic and Instrumentation Laboratory (MHI), conducted a Technical and Development Visit to the Batang Kali Water Treatment Plant in the Hulu Selangor District. The visit was led by Ir. Ts. Icahri bin Hj. Chatta and involved 12 NAHRIM officers, with the participation of five officers from the Hulu Selangor Regional Office of Pengurusan Air Selangor.
The primary objective of the visit was to establish and strengthen strategic collaboration in Research and Development (R&D) of Renewable Energy Technologies as alternative energy sources, in support of the PETRA Strategic Plan under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK-13).
Through this visit, the Hydraulic and Instrumentation Laboratory (MHI) gained valuable opportunities to explore future collaborative R&D potential in the water and energy sectors with Pengurusan Air Selangor.
