A briefing on enhancing water resource quality in the State of Pahang was held on 6 April 2026 at the Sri Pahang Operations Room, Sultan Ahmad Shah Administrative Centre (PPSAS). The session was chaired by YB Dato’ Haji Mohammad Fakhruddin bin Mohd Ariff, Pahang State Executive Councillor for Environment.
During the session, the National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) presented its expertise through a presentation titled “NAHRIM Technology: Urban Pollution Control Solutions for Improving River Water Quality in Pahang.” The presentation was delivered by Dr. Mohd Aminur Rashid Mohd Amiruddin Arumugam, representing the River Basin Research Centre.
The briefing was also attended by representatives from state departments and technical agencies, local authorities, state-linked companies, as well as federal agencies.
