En. Noor Hisham Ab Ghani from NAHRIM’s Water Quality Laboratory recently participated in a site visit and coordination meeting regarding the proposed STP pipe installation for the Sungai Tasek Anak drainage in Langkawi, Kedah. The session, held at the mouth of Sungai Tasek Anak, Pantai Tengah, was also attended by Gs. Baharudin Ahmad, Deputy Director of JPS Kedah, En. Khairul Azhan Jamaluddin, and officers from JPS Langkawi.
Serving as the technical advisor, NAHRIM provides specialized expertise to assist stakeholders in Langkawi in addressing critical water quality and quantity issues at the site. This strategic collaboration with JPS aims to ensure the preservation of the river and coastal ecosystems in this prime tourist destination through more efficient and sustainable wastewater management solutions.
