From 13 to 15 April 2026, students from Politeknik Merlimau, Melaka participated in a water quality analysis practical session at the Water Quality Laboratory (MKA), NAHRIM. This programme was part of a broader implementation involving a total of 117 students, which was conducted across four sessions on 8 April, 13 April, 14 April, and 15 April 2026.
Throughout the practical sessions, students were exposed to sampling methods, laboratory-based analysis using relevant equipment, as well as data assessment involving several water quality parameters.
The programme aimed to provide students with hands-on learning experience, while enhancing their understanding in the field of environmental engineering and strengthening the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom. In line with this, NAHRIM remains committed to supporting capacity and skills development in the water sector, particularly in water quality. The Water Quality Laboratory (MKA) also offers related analytical and training services to meet competency development needs in this field.
