29 JANUARI 2026 | MEETING SESSION AND 2026 NEW YEAR MANDATE BY THE HON. MINISTER OF ENERGY TRANSITION AND WATER TRANSFORMATION (PETRA)
A Meeting Session of the Hon. Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) with Staff and the 2026 Mandate was successfully held on 29 January 2026 at Dewan Baiduri, PETRA. The session commenced at 8:15 AM, attended by ministry personnel to receive the strategic direction and new year mandate from the Hon. Minister.
The agenda began on a high note with the singing of the official anthem and the recital of the loyalty pledge by PETRA staff. The ceremony continued with a special montage presentation, highlighting the ministry’s achievements and milestones throughout the past year.
Launch OF PSP26-30 A significant milestone was achieved with the official launch of the PETRA Strategic Plan (PSP26-30). This plan will serve as the primary reference document and the catalyst for the nation’s energy and water sector transformation over the next five years.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Star Rating Awards & 2025 Financial Management Self-Assessment. Heartiest congratulations to the 5-Star () recipients: JPS, JBA, JPP, NAHRIM (represented by TKP Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Safari Hj. Mat Desa), and the Finance Division for their excellence in governance.
The session concluded with a commemorative photo session and a brief reception. It is hoped that the mandate delivered will serve as an inspiration for all PETRA staff to continue providing exceptional service throughout 2026.
