2 DECEMBER 2025 | KNOWLEDGE SHARING SESSION: “ACT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE”
The Knowledge Sharing Session titled “Act Before It’s Too Late”, organised by the NAHRIM Integrity Unit, was held online on 2 December 2025.
During the session, the NAHRIM Integrity Unit provided a brief explanation on the code of conduct and discipline for public servants, including the principles of public service, disciplinary authority, and the role of Heads of Department in supervising and managing discipline.
Additionally, the Integrity Unit outlined various forms of misconduct commonly occurring among public servants, such as drug abuse, serious indebtedness, political involvement, pyramid schemes, absenteeism, outside employment, and sexual harassment. Participants were also introduced to the types of disciplinary punishments and their implications on service, benefits, and service records.
This sharing session was organised as an initiative to enhance NAHRIM staff’s understanding of compliance with regulations, integrity, and accountability in carrying out their duties as public servants.
