𝟐𝟎 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | The NAHRIM research delegation attended a very meaningful initial discussion session with the PETRONAS at Tower 1, KLCC.

In this meeting, the NAHRIM delegation was represented by a line of researchers and was also attended by representatives from PETRONAS, namely Dr. Radin Diana R. Ahmad and Ts. Fazrun B Zaini.

This strategic meeting focused on efforts to strengthen the climate resilience of the country’s corporate sector. Among the main agendas that were discussed included:

Site-Specific Study: Exploring the potential for implementing climate change impact studies that focus on specific industrial sites and operations.

Scope of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU): Refine the scope and framework of technical cooperation to measure the future MoU between NAHRIM and PETRONAS.

This cross-sector synergy between government research agencies and industry leaders demonstrates our shared commitment to building a more sustainable and resilient Malaysia’s future against the threats of global climate change.
