A meeting and introductory briefing on the AIR3S System between the National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) and the National Artificial Intelligence Office (NAIO) was held on 1 April 2026 at the NAIO Meeting Room, Menara MoF Inc.
This strategic engagement session was chaired by Mr. Mohd Al Hafidz bin Yahya, Director of AI Innovation Exchange, NAIO. The NAHRIM delegation was led by Dr. Mohd Aminur Rashid Mohd Amiruddin Arumugam, a senior officer from the River Basin Research Centre (PKLS), along with Ms. Harlisa representing NAHRIM’s Information Management Division.
The discussion focused on the potential integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into the AIR3S System to enhance water resource management, analytics, and research in a smarter and more effective manner. This strategic collaboration is expected to drive innovation and support the sustainability of the nation’s water resource management.
