7 January 2026 | The National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM) received a courtesy visit from the National Water Services Commission (SPAN), led by YBhg. Datuk Ir. Abdul Kadir bin Mohd. Din, Chairman of SPAN.
The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration among agencies under the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) involved in the water industry. The outcomes of the discussions are expected to generate new ideas and further enhance research efforts in support of national water services and the industry as a whole. The SPAN delegation was also given a tour of, and a briefing at, the Hydraulics and Instrumentation Laboratory (MHI).
NAHRIM extends its appreciation to all parties involved in ensuring the success of this programme.
