CEPA PROGRAM WITH NGOs IN THE STATE OF MELAKA
On 19 January 2026, the Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) Programme was held with strategic NGO partners in the State of Melaka at MBA 5 Room, Faculty of Technology Management and Technopreneurship (FPTT), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).
The programme served as a structured discussion platform bringing together non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to strengthen cross-sector collaboration in the implementation of CEPA initiatives at the local level.
The main focus of the programme included:
▶️ Establishing strategic collaboration networks among JPS, NAHRIM, UTeM, and NGOs
▶️ Coordinating the establishment and strengthening of focused Community-Based Organisations (CBOs)
▶️ Discussing the role of CBOs as facilitators in delivering information, key messages, and awareness materials to target groups
▶️ Sharing best practices to ensure the sustainability of CEPA programmes, particularly in the context of community management and community preparedness
Overall, the programme reflects the continued commitment of all parties in empowering knowledge-based communities, strengthening grassroots governance, and supporting the sustainable development agenda through a systematic public communication and education approach.
