MBJ NAHRIM
- The jurisdiction and functions of MBJ cover all matters related to service conditions and organizational operations such as administrative work systems, welfare, finance, and services—except for matters involving government policy or individual issues.
- MBJ members play a role in contributing innovative and productivity-related ideas concerning departmental governance to ensure continuous performance improvement.
- MBJ serves as a suitable platform for employees to voice complaints and suggestions to the employer so that organizational harmony can be fostered.

Purpose of MBJ:
- To obtain the widest possible and comprehensive cooperation between NAHRIM and the salaried officers of NAHRIM in matters related to work and employee welfare; and
- To establish a mechanism for managing matters regarding working conditions, and generally to gather various ideas and feedback from employees through the official representatives of NAHRIM.

Scope and Functions:

To provide opinions and discuss principles of remuneration, allowances, facilities, and terms of service for public sector employees. Discussions should address general matters as a whole and must not involve individual employee issues;

To enable the Employer’s Representative to present any proposed changes or updates on new developments to obtain feedback and views from Employee Representatives before being submitted for Government decision;
- To encourage staff participation in discussions, thereby enhancing their understanding of the administration of various departments;
- To provide a mechanism for improving the organizational system by considering and accepting suggestions or recommendations from NAHRIM staff.
