Project Details:
The main aim of reviewing and updating the procedure are mainly to overcome the following issues:
- To enhance and improve the accuracy of quantiles estimation particularly at high return period;
- To improve the estimation of design rainstorm/rainfall intensity with respect to the temporal storm variability
- To improve the estimation of design rainstorm/rainfall intensity with respect to the spatial storm variability
- Ability to support the Urban Stormwater Management Manual (MSMA) with respect to the estimation of design rainstorm for low return period and to provide more at-site IDF relationship
- Ability to provide the estimation of design rainstorm/rainfall intensity and IDF relationship at ungauged site.
